1. Introduction
The authors of the article “Structural Safety Evaluation of a Fairlead Chain Stopper for the Disconnectable Mooring System of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines” wish to acknowledge a critical prior study that formed the basis of this work but was inadvertently omitted from the references. This article is a follow-up study that extends, expands, and improves the reliability of the methodology and results presented in the prior work. we are now explicitly citing the components that were based on or identical to those in the prior study.
